Students will study and practice communicative English for use in international business, with a strong focus on listening, speaking, and writing. Speaking and listening skills will be taught via pair work/group based projects, and social media. The skills to be developed in this course are how to conduct oneself in small and large groups in a business setting. 学修の目的 (1) Putting advanced English vocabulary, grammar and patterns to use in real-life situations, (2) Becoming introduced to business situations in the English speaking world, (3) Interacting in English, not merely passively listening, and (4) Doing all of these things in an "English-only" environment.

Students will be expected to do approximately two hours of work outside of class each week. Some weeks will be less, some weeks will be more. There are a few groups projects and this will require meeting with the other members outside of class and working together. This CAN be accomplished online of course!
