受講対象学生	学部(学士課程) : 1年次 TOEIC600点以上取得者。ただし履修希望者が多い場合は英語特別プログラム修了希望者を優先する。履修希望者は一週目の授業は日本語でのスタートアップセミナーを受けること。この授業はTOEIC IPテストの結果発表後、二週目から開講される。 This course is limited to students with a TOEIC score of 600 or higher. All students are required to attend the Japanese language Start-up Seminar during the first week of classes. The English version of the course starts in the 2nd week/lesson, after the results of the TOEIC IP test.

学修の目的と方法

授業の概要	In this class, you will learn the "Four Abilities" of Mie University's educational goals through Project-Based Learning (PBL). You will conduct group projects and achieve proper study methods through practice, as well as transition to life as a college student. This version of the course is for students who would like to pursue these goals in English and who have scored 600 or higher on TOEIC IP. ＰＢＬに基づいたプロジェクト活動にグループで取り組む中で、三重大学のディプロマ・ポリシー「4つの力」の内容について知り、大学での学習方法やスキルなどを体験的に学習し、大学生活へのスムーズな移行をはかる
学修の目的	・Understand and achieve the educational goals (Four abilities) while aiming for further advancement through the acquisition of necessary knowledge and skills. ・Acquire the study skills and methods necessary for university students. ・Achieve these goals as part of a team by planning and executing a group project. ・ディプロマ・ポリシー（４つの力）を理解し、大学生活においてそれを獲得・向上を目指すために必要な知識やスキルの習得・大学生に必要な学習スキル・学習方法の習得・グループによるプロジェクトの遂行と達成
学修の到達目標	・Understand the "Four Abilities"--feeling ability, thinking ability, communication ability, and living ability--and put them into practice by considering what is necessary for further developing both your strengths in those abilities and their significance. ・Learn and practice the basic study skills and methods necessary for university students. ・Learn and practice the skills and attitudes necessary for working as part of a team through participation in group activities. ・感じる力、考える力、コミュニケーション力、生きる力（４つの力）の内容を理解し、その意義やそれらの力を高めるために必要なことについて考え実践できる・大学生に必要な基本的な学習スキルや学習方法を学び、実践できる・プロジェクト活動を通して、グループでの活動に必要な姿勢やスキルを学び、それらを実践できる

成績評価方法と基準	60% Assignments (individual & group) 20% Final group presentation 20% Active participation and involvement in class activities and group work. -All of the above must be completed in English. -Points will be deducted for lateness to class, absences, uncooperative attitude, lateness in submitting assignments, etc. 提出物（毎回の個人課題、グループでの成果物）：60％、グループの最終発表に対する評価結果：20％、授業やグループ活動における個人の取り組み：20％
授業の方法	講義演習
授業の特徴	PBL 問題提示型PBL（事例シナリオ活用含）特色ある教育プレゼンテーション/ディベートを取り入れた授業グループ学習の要素を加えた授業 Moodleを活用する授業その他、能動的要素を加えた授業（ミニッツペーパー、シャトルカードなど）英語を用いた教育教員と学生、学生相互のやり取りが、ほぼ英語で進められる授業
授業改善の工夫	We will utilize PBL and Moodle in the course. PBL形式、Moodleを活用し、授業を進めていく。
教科書	Materials will be distributed by the instructor. 適宜、資料を配付する
参考書	Introduced in class, as appropriate 適宜、紹介する。

その他	(1) This course is conducted entirely in English. We will create this all-English environment together by helping each other. You do not need to be a ‘master’ of perfect English. You do, however, need to make a commitment to using only English for the full 90 minutes every week. (2) If you have specific needs which could affect your experience in the class, such as a physical disability or a sensitivity to certain sounds, please tell the instructor(s) during the first class session. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. (3) This class will include activities designed to increase understanding and interest in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). （1）本授業は、英語による授業である。この授業では、完璧な英語を使うことよりも、授業全体を通して全て英語で取り組む姿勢が求められる。（２）受講上、身体面等に対する特別な配慮が必要な場合は、担当教員に申し出ること。（３）本授業には、SDGsに対する理解や興味関心を高める活動も含む。
