授業の概要 | Students will study examples of academic writing in order to produce correctly formatted, grammatically correct works which accuratly commuicate their ideas. Further, students will be able to build on skills gained in semester 1 to communicate more detailed concepts in written English. Students will also be able to effectivly take part in a team writting project of a creative nature. |

学修の目的 | Skill development for the production of academic papers for essays and themes of a longer nature. |
学修の到達目標 | By the end of the course students will be able to correctly format a formal paper and express their viewpoints with clarity in grammatically correct English. They will develop skills in the discernment of fact and opinion as well as evaluating the degree of support needed in academic writing. |

In-class writing time 5. SW/GP #4 Short lecture: Clarity in Expressing ideas. First drafts of plays should be ready next class. 6. Group counseling and correction. In-class writing. Plays next week! 7. Students perform plays. Feedback. discuss quiz next week. 8. Quiz #1 Creative writing. Short lecture on process writing. Students choose a process to describe. 9.
