授業の概要 | This course provides an introductory analysis of concepts involved in the teaching of English as a second language and will provide an overview of practical classroom teaching techniques through the use of the SIOP method. |

学修の目的 | Topics for this course will range from a general overview of the SIOP model for Second Language Acquisition (SLA) instruction to more focused topics such as comprehensible input and strategies for scaffolding. |
学修の到達目標 | This course will provide students the necessary skills to understand how to apply basic SLA concepts language instruction, and an understanding of its methodologies. Finally, those acquired skills and techniques will be applied to create a teachable practicum lesson. |
