授業の概要 | Biology is the foundation of all characteristics of life on Earth, and it helps to understand the complex forms of life involving humans, animals and plants and the functioning of ecosystems. Apart from creating solutions to the many challenges that living organisms are facing, it provides a way for inventions that improve the quality of life. Therefore this course is designed to deepen the knowledge on human biology and naval technologies in biological sciences in English medium as many international organizations, academics, and multinational companies in biological sciences are widely used English as their language of instructions. The students will engage with basic scientific facts of food and nutrition, cell biology, organisms, human body systems, diseases, and plasma nanotechnology applications in biological sciences. The lectures are offered in English and lessons are focused on developing the skills of presentation, writing, and formal communications. At the end of this course, students will have attained a theoretical and practical understanding of scientific concepts and apply the fundamental knowledge for finding solutions to the issues on the biosciences and related technologies in the future, while using scientific English to communicate this knowledge, which enables students to explore more opportunities. |
