授業の概要 | Students will study and practice communicative English for use in international business. With a strong focus on listening and speaking, the lessons will cover specific workplace situations, such as meetings, telephone conversations, emails, and presentations, and the students will master the basic linguistic tasks needed in order to shine on the global stage. As we work through the textbook, we will also focus on how to adapt our behavior to deal with various communication styles. |

学習の到達目標 | By the end of the course, students will be able to (1) listen to and understand basic business conversations, (2) perform basic business tasks effectively and with confidence, (3) deliver a short presentation with a clear message. In addition, students will be able to consider ways of adapting their language and behavior to deal with various communication styles. |
