| 授業の概要 | You will learn to analyze English vocabulary into component parts based on the structure of the words themselves, and to understand the basic meaning of new vocabulary without the need of a dictionary. You will also learn why English words are spelled the way they are. 英語の語彙をそれぞれの構造によって部分に分析し、辞書要らずに新しい語彙の基本的な意味を理解することを学ぶ。その上、英語の言葉のスペルの故も学ぶ。 |

| 成績評価方法と基準 | Evaluation is by class preparation (homework, etc.) 20%, in-class participation (active participation in group work, etc.) 20%, quizzes 20%, and an in-class final exam 40%. 成績評価は、講義準備（宿題等）20%、講義中の態度（グループ活動への取り組み姿勢等）20%、小テスト20%、最終試験40%による。 |
