学修の目的と方法

授業の概要 This course will focus on the various steps of the writing process, to give
students the necessary skills to effectively communicate their ideas and
thoughts in paragraphs and essays on various topics and in various academic
situations. Students will develop their writing skills to meet the demands of an
increasingly globalized society. Classes will involve lectures and discussions with
examples of various approaches to academic writing. Students will develop their writing skills through class assignments and collaborative learning.
学修の目的 To understand the writing process and develop the skills necessary to write in English
in an academic setting.
学修の到達目標 Students should gain a greater knowledge of the writing process used for English
compositions in regard to paragraph composition, writing for an audience,
and the grammar necessary for academic writing.
