学修の目的と方法

授業の概要	This 15 week course will look at foundational stories and genres in the Christian Bible as important references and archetypes for much of British and American literature. We will regard the Bible as a library, instead of a book, which contains stories, poetry, Gospels, satire, wisdom, and many more. Additionally we will look at key Bibical figures from Adam and Eve to Jesus Christ.
学修の目的	To gain an introductory understanding of how the Christian Bible informs Western thought and literary forms.
学修の到達目標	To become familiar with important Biblical stories/themes/motifs as a frame of reference for future literary study.

授業の特徴	PBL 特色ある教育 eポートフォリオを活用する授業英語を用いた教育教員と学生、学生相互のやり取りが、ほぼ英語で進められる授業
授業アンケート結果を受けての改善点	Class participation and attendance will be mandatory in order to receive a passing score in this class. Four unexcused absences will result in an automatic “0” in this class.
教科書	Instructor will provide excerpts from the Bible.
