学修の目的と方法

授業の概要	Medical English 2 will be a one semester course. The class will focus on group and individual work. Group work will consist of five presentaions. Individual work will focus on assignments. Students will research current events/topics and present them in English. This will further deepen the students ability to understand medical topics and give them the opportunity to discuss them with international collegues.
学修の目的	From Medical English 1 and "Dr. Hori's presentation class" and in congruence with theiｒ current medical studies, students wil research and present current medical topics. The focus is to build vocabulary, improve pronunciation, practice english presentaton skills., and clarify their Japanese knowledge through presentations. This will broaden their medical learning experience.
学修の到達目標	The learning goals of this class are: 1) Fluency of medical terms. 2) Understanding of how to prepare and present a slide show, 3) Have a deeper knowledge of the English language, especially medical terms. 4) Gaining language confidence through practice 5) Skill confidence through practice and review and self reflection.

事前・事後学修の内容	Before class; presentations should be reaserched, checked and practiced. In class; students will focus speaking clearly, listening to and answering questions. After class; the students can build on their experience; peer review, teacher review, and self evaluation, to ameliorate there next presentation.
