学修の目的と方法

授業の概要	This is an advanced level course focused on the process of writing, and on the linguistic skills needed to describe, to narrate, to persuade and to explain things in writing. The goal of this course is to give students lots of practice in translating their thoughts into comprehensible English in different kinds of writing so that they can write in English on various themes according to objectives and situations.
学修の目的
学修の到達目標	Starting with simple paragraphs, students will learn how to assemble a composition through a process of writing a first draft, helping each other find ways to improve it, checking for accuracy in grammar and spelling, and producing a finished work.

授業の方法
授業の特徴	PBL 特色ある教育その他、能動的要素を加えた授業（ミニッツペーパー、シャトルカードなど）英語を用いた教育
授業改善の工夫	Students are granted considerable autonomy in this course, and are also encouraged to go beyond the bare minimum required for each writing project. They have an opportunity to produce their own English, and should not be afraid of making mistakes.

受講要件	Composing written work is largely a solitary occupation so students will need to have a mature, responsible attitude, and be capable of working alone and completing assigned work on time and in an acceptable form.
