学習の目的と方法

授業の概要	留学生と日本人学生が協力して、三重の社会と文化を探求する。学期中4回学外研修に出かける。（学外研修には火曜日午後の２コマを当てる。）行き先は、1)三重に息づく古代、中世期以来の伝統文化、2)大切に保存されている町人・職人文化、3) 三重の自然、社会、文化について歴史的視点から総合的に学習できる所。 学外研修に向けて、講義、インターネット検索、グループワーク等を通して研修の準備をし、研修結果を、パワーポイントを駆使したプレゼンテーションにまとめる。 International students and Japanese students explore together the society and culture of Mie. The class will go out on a field trip 4 times per semester. (Two class sessions will be spent for one field trip on Tuesday afternoons.) Destinations may include places where students can observe and study: 1)traditional culture since ancient and medieval times, 2) carefully conserved townsmen's/craftsmen's culture, 3) nature and culture of Mie in conprehensive perspectives. Class will prepare for fieldtrips through lectures, internet research, group work, etc. The results of fieldtrips will be put into oral presentations using Power Point.
学習の目的	留学生と日本人学生が共に、三重の社会と文化を理解し、英語で発表する能力を持つ。 Both international students and Japanese students understand the society and culture of Mie and acquire ability to present it in English.
学習の到達目標	留学生と日本人学生が、三重の社会と文化について、自分の関心のあるトピックを理解し、他の人々に話題を提供し、コミュニケーションを広げることができるようになる。 Both international students and Japanese students understand about the topics that they are interested, offer discussions and increase opportunities of communication in English.

受講要件	クラスでのコミュニケーションは主に英語で行われるので、英語力を養うことに積極的であること Class will communicate mainly in English. Be positive about developing English competency.
