学習の目的と方法

授業の概要	This is a 15 week course in which we will focus on the American Novel, The Things They Carried, by Tim O’Brien. In this class we will focus on metafiction, the importance of Story, the power of language, and American culture relating to the time period of the Vietnam War.
学習の目的	To explore the ways in which Story is sometimes truer that reality, and to think about the many Stories and moral frameworks that constitute our cultural realities.
学習の到達目標	To be able to think critically about ones cultural surroundings.
